Example Workflows

Let's assume you read the article Steroid hormones.

- If you want to improve or extend this article the only thing you have to do is clicking the edit button and then changing or adding your additional content. See Editing an article

- Assume there is a the word membrane in the article. If you want the describle the word membrane in a new article you just have to do following:

  1. Click the Edit - Button in the article Steroid hormones
  2. Mark the word membrane in the textfield with the sourcecode, and click the Button Internal Link. The word membrane will be enclosed in two brackets. Of course, you can enclose the word with brackets directly in the sourcecode.
  3. After that, click the save button and see the result of the article Steroid hormones. You will see the word membrane as a red-coloured link.
  4. When you click this link you will be redirected to the new empty page membrane.
  5. That's it. Put your content for the word membrane to the new article membrane.

- Assume you Search for the article oxidation by clicking the GO - Button. If there is no article called oxidation you get a message about it and the suggestion to create a new article called oxidation. The only thing you have to do is clicking the shown link for creating the new article oxidation. That's it - put your content to the new page/article and click the save button.

Don't be afraid to editanyone can edit almost any page, and we encourage you to bold! Find something that can be improved, whether content, grammar or formatting, and make it better.

You can't break the Lipidomics Wiki. Anything can be fixed or improved later. So go ahead, edit an article and help make Wikipedia the best information source on the Internet!
