MDS-solution for the handling of image data

The MDS-solution provides the possibility to save image data and measurement data acquired and analysed with the MetaXpressTM software in an organized fashion by using MDCStoreTM which is a SQL or Oracle based database. Images can be stored either directly within the database or in a dedicated folder where they are linked to the database by a FileServer. The database and the images can be located on the acquisition computer or on a remote location in a network. The images can also be retrieved and processed by image analysis application modules using additional MetaXpressTM clients that are connected to MDCStoreTM via a network connection. Results from the image analysis results as well as object segmentation masks are saved back to the database. MDCStoreToolsTM provides a tool for database backup, migration, and optimization as well as the set up of different users with different access rights to the data.
AcuityXpressTM is cellular informatics and data mining software allowing the statistical analysis of multiparametric measurement data. It provides tools like self organizing maps, principle component analysis, hierarchical clustering, and curve fitting. It also includes MDCEarth TM which enables users to link data points from the statistics to the images and vice versa.
